Art Direction & Design: Ebunaé McBean | Programs: After Effects, Illustrator | Project at Miami Ad School
For an end-of-quarter project, I created a motion graphics lyric video for the song Funny Thing by Thundercat. Drawing inspiration from the song’s upbeat, carefree vibe, I designed colorful, psychedelic backgrounds in Illustrator, which I then animated in After Effects. Visually, my goal was to capture the song’s lively energy and playful tone, using a vibrant color palette paired with fast-paced transitions to create a fun, dynamic viewing experience.
